4 drummers, 4 diffent temperaments. The Drum Project is a premiere of a new international collaboration, jointly commmissioned with Borealis – a festival for experimental music, Bergen, Norway in frame of the Fresh Air Project.
Michaela Antalová is a drummer from Slovakia. At the moment she is studying improvisation/jazz music at Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo. She does solo performances and also collaborate with other people in few bands, both form Czech republic, where she lived before, and Norway.

Øyvind Skarbø studied under the guidance of Terje Isungset at Griegakademiet, and has also carried out studies in Norwegian, Cuban and Nigerian traditional music. He is a driving force on the Norwegian improvisation music scene, both as a member and organizer of a number of bands. His main project ‘1982’ and ‘Bly de Blyant’ are albums released on the Norwegian label Hubro.
Anja Jacobsen is a Danish composer, singer, percussionist and keyboardist. In 2008 she founded the group Valby Vokalgruppe in which she is the main composer and band leader. She is also co-composer and drummer in the band Selvhenter and the composer in Oum, a vocal performance for 13 singers. Her solo project is Frk. Jacobsen.
Chris Corsano is a drummer from New England, United States. He often performs in an improvisation duo with saxophonist Paul Flaherty. He has also recorded material with artists such as Evan Parker,[1] Dredd Foole, Sunburned Hand of the Man, Six Organs of Admittance, Kim Gordon, Thurston Moore, Matt Valentine, Nels Cline, Vibracathedral Orchestra, Cold Bleak Heat, Jim O’Rourke, Jandek, Michael Flower, and C. Spencer Yeh as well releasing numerous solo recordings. Corsano has been a touring musician with Björk, having featured on her 2007 studio album Volta.
